Osatsu Fishing Port

Port

Osatsu Fishing Port, open to the south, is lined with more than a dozen fishing boats. Blue flags of Aomine-san Shofukuji Temple, revered by seafarers, flutter from the vessels. On the third Sunday of each month, a morning market is held, attracting many local residents. The port is also a gathering place for the wider community, hosting events such as New Year lion dances and the summer Whale Festival, in addition to serving the fishing community.
